Manufacturing Skills Australia (MSA)
Manufacturing Skills Australia is a national Industry Skills Council which aims to ensure that the skills needs of manufacturing enterprises are being met. They are owned by industry and managed by a board from across industry, funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).
Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA)
Meat and Livestock Australia is the National Body representing 47,000 cattle sheep and goat producers.
Minerals Council of Australia (MCA)
The MCA is an advocacy body which represents Australia’s exploration, mining and minerals processing industry, nationally and internationally.
National Measurement Institute (NMI)
NMI is Australia’s peak measurement body responsible for biological, chemical, legal, physical and trade measurement.
New South Wales Government – Office of Environment and Heritage
The NSW Government runs its business energy efficiency programs through the Office of Environment and Heritage.
Northern Territory Government
The NT Government runs the ecoBiz NT program and covers energy efficiency policy in the ‘Greening the Territory’ Policy.
Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association (PACIA)
The national body representing Australia’s chemicals and plastics industries.
Property Council of Australia
The Property Council is the key advocacy and training organisation representing Australia’s property industry
Pulp and Paper Industry Innovation Council
The Pulp and Paper Industry Innovation Council provides the Minister for Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education with strategic advice on priorities for innovation opportunities in pulp and paper manufacturing. The council is made up of government, industry, training and research representatives.
Queensland Government
Energy efficiency programs and policy are coordinated through the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection and the Department of Energy and Water Supply.
South Australian Government
Energy Efficiency Programs are covered by a number of South Australian Government Organisations including Zero Waste SA, Innovate SA and the South Australian Department for Manufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy.
Steel Industry Innovation Council
The Steel Industry Innovation Council is made up of representatives from government, the steel industry, unions and the tertiary sector. The Council supports the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of the Australian steel industry. It provides strategic advice to the Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science, Research and Tertiary Education.
Sustainable Energy Association (SEA)
A peak body representing the sustainable energy industry.
Tasmanian Government
Energy policy is covered by: the Deptartment of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources; the Department of Premier and Cabinet; the Department of Economic Development.
The Minerals Institute (AusIMM)
The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy is the Industry body representing 11,000 workers in the minerals industry across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Transport and Logistics Industry Skills Council (TLISC)
TLISC is run through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) with representatives from the government, industry sectors and research bodies. Their main aim is to drive the skills and workforce development agenda across the transport and logistics industry.
Victorian Government
Energy Efficiency programs are run by Sustainabilty Victoria, the Environment Protection Authority Victoria, and the Victorian Department of Primary Industries.
Western Australian Government
The Western Australian Government administers the national energy efficiency schemes, NABERS and OSCAR, for West Australian companies.
