The Australian Alliance to Save Energy is a coalition of business, government and environmental leaders formed to drive research and advance the efficient use of energy in Australia and to investigate and promote the role of energy efficiency in reducing energy costs and improving liquid fuel energy security.

A2SE commissions research on energy efficiency, demand management and decentralised energy to inform the energy/climate change debate, in conjunction with the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology, Sydney. They also aim to advance the  introduction of world’s best practices and technologies in energy efficiency and are affiliated with the United States-based Alliance to Save Energy (www.ase.org).
